Picked Vintage’s Company and Website Policy:

By accessing and using Picked Vintage’s website, you accept, without limitation or qualification, our policies. We may, at any time and without notice, modify any of our policies by revising them on our website.  You are responsible for reviewing all of our policies prior to use or purchases. No modifications of any of these policies are allowed unless specified in writing by Picked Vintage.

1. Item Descriptions:

Please read all item descriptions carefully. Since most of items sold on Picked Vintage are vintage or antique, they are not brand new or in mint condition unless otherwise noted. Item descriptions and dimensions are written as accurately as possible. The images and colors displayed on our website may be influenced by the settings of the device you are using to view it.  Since descriptions are subjective, Picked Vintage makes no guarantees on any item description or its features.  Please email us with any inquiries regarding an item or its specifications.

2. Payment:

We accept all major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.  We also accept payments via Paypal.  Please contact us to purchase any piece on the site.

3. Shipping & Handling, Insurance and Delivery:

We ship nationwide!  Currently we use USPS, UPS and FEDEX to ship our smaller items.  We use UPS or Greyhound Frieght to ship our smaller furniture.  If you have a UPS or FedEx account, we can use that too.  We have dedicated blanket wrap shippers for larger pieces that travel all the way to the west coast and down south.  Please inquire to see if our shippers can include you into their trip.

We also work with 2 online blanket wrap delivery services for larger pieces: uShip: http://www.uship.com, and the Plycon Group: http://www.plycongroup.com.  They will be able to provide you with a shipping quote for your item(s).  ***Please inquire about shipping & handling rates and insurance on an item(s) prior to purchase. 

The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping & handling and insurance fees quoted and agreed upon by Picked Vintage and the buyer prior to shipping an item.  An item will not be shipped without full payment of the item(s) including its shipping & handling and insurance fees.  Personal delivery is possible within a certain distance for a fee.  Please inquire about the delivery fee of an item(s) prior purchase.  The buyer is responsible for paying for all delivery fees quoted and agreed upon by Picked Vintage and the buyer prior to delivery, unless otherwise specified in writing by Picked Vintage.  Any items that have not been picked up or delivered within 24 hours of purchase, or the approved adjusted time frame approved in writing from Picked Vintage, will be placed back into inventory for future sale and the buyer’s payment will be forfeited.  Under no circumstances are refunds allowed after a buyer has not come to pick up their item, or made arrangements or agreements with Picked Vintage to pick up their item at a later approved date.

*Unattended delivery policy: If the buyer requests that an item(s) be delivered when the buyer is not present, it is up to the buyer to arrange for a representative to accept the delivery on their behalf.  The acceptance of the item(s) by the representative will conclude the sale.

4. Deposits

Every item listed is on a first come, first served basis.  Buyers are allowed to leave a non-refundable deposit on an item.  We cannot hold items without a deposit.  The minimum deposit allowed is 50% of the item(s)’ listed price.  After leaving a deposit, the buyer must make arrangements for pick up or delivery of the item(s) within 24 hours of purchase.  If a buyer needs an adjusted time beyond 24 hours, it must be agreed upon in writing with Picked Vintage, otherwise the buyer forfeits their deposit on the item(s).  Any items that have not been picked up or delivered within 24 hours, or the approved adjusted time frame from Picked Vintage, will be placed back into inventory for future sale and the buyer’s deposit will be forfeited.

5. Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges:

There are no returns, refunds or exchanges and all sales are final.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

6. Appraisals:

We get emails from people that would like us to appraise and value their own piece at home.  Since we are not licensed appraisers, we cannot give anyone a value on their piece and how much they should sell it for.  Unfortunately we cannot respond to these requests.  We also do not give out past prices on our sold items.
