This is a beautiful cabinet designed by Paul McCobb for the Planner Group. It has a bottom sliding door cabinet, paired with a top modular drawer unit. The cabinet has an adjustable shelf, the top unit has 4 dovetailed drawers with brass knobs. This piece is maker’s marked on the back and in the drawer. These are 2 mid century modern Scandinavian record holders. The first is a teak rolling rack, designed by Rolf Hesland for Bruksbo, made in Norway. It has 12 open slats to store records or magazines:27″W x 14″D x 17.5″H. The second is a teak record cabinet with brass tipped tapered legs, made in Denmark: 33″W x 15.5″D x 28″H. The top of both modular shelf units have open cabinets, the bottom cabinet of the first has 3 dovetailed drawers with Danish style wood pulls.
